November… the November card is from the Gilded Tarot. We get the Queen of Cups. In the video, I remind you that you are doing great as we journey through this Year and all its monthly readings! As we finished with the October Spirit of Earth card, I mentioned to remember the watery energy from other month’s so far… and here we get our beautiful Queen of Cups bringing the Water element, from the Gilded Tarot, for November. She reminds us that one of the theme cards for this year is the Water Dragon card. You can find the link to the video reading for that card below.
In 2023, we had a lot of Queen energy, we had a lot of Divine Feminine energy. This month, we are with this Queen of Cups. She has a very strong pillar in the image behind her and presents with strong energy. She is in those same colors we were talking about with the October card (red, orange, yellow) which could represent the first three energy centres or chakras. She of course, also has the Cup.
By this point in the year, we have had our Page of Cups (August), we've gone to Love and Compassion (September), and then we've gone to Spirit of Earth with its rooting and grounding (October). Now we rise up into Queen energy. Whether you are male or female, masculine or feminine, you have everything in you - you have Queen, you have King, you have it all within you, divine masculine, divine feminine… brought through to November. Now asking What is in your Cup? What are you embracing as Queen?
The Queen is loyal. She is vitality, she is abundance, and she is also birthing as she comes towards the end of the year. She has received from the Earth. She has received through Love and Compassion. She has received from all that learning previous to this year and up to that Page of Cups. And now she brings: “Who am I?” “What am I doing?” “What have I learned?” “What have I brought?”. Shoulders back, chest strong, feeling good, and feeling valid. Regardless of whether life feels like utter chaos or challenge or difficulty or intensity, or whether it's full of love and joy and flow. Most likely it will be all of the above. It will be love and vibrance and flow, all at the same time with challenge and intensity and frustration and loss, because that's the nature of being a Queen. You will delegate where you need to, you will receive where you need to, you will be able to fill your cup and to release what is not necessary in your cup, but you're standing strong and true to yourself.
And if it doesn't feel like that - if you look at this card and go “yeah, soooo not feeling like the queen”, then just take a moment. Put on something you love, clothing, jewelry, outfit, accessory… and then go back over all the other cards we have had so far this year. Little by little with baby steps. Find that little nugget(s) that helps you connect with your Queen energy. Notice: this helps me connect with my Queen energy, if I Surrender this or release this, it helps me connect with my Queen energy. Beautiful.
This Queen has some stormy water behind her in the image. We know that there can be still some storms, that's life, it is a life! But she's standing strong with her beautiful Cup. You can look back to the Page of Cups for her energy and image, and then move all that into the Queen of Cups for November,
