Giving Birth
“I am bringing forth new and dynamic energy into the world.”
We move to December. The December 2025 reading is from the Gateway Oracle Cards and is the Giving Birth card. Ah, so now it makes sense that we had all that reflection time in November. It is because December is coming in with Giving Birth energy. In the image of this card, we see this person in their gel-type capsule cocoon area, in a cabbage patch. They are ready to go, ready to be birthed in some way. We see the starry night moving to daytime. We see spirit energy with this beautiful dove or dove spirit-like essence. The affirmation on the card says, “I am bringing forth new and dynamic energy into the world.”
December feels totally different than the previous months. December feels as though all the stuff from the year, the challenges, the helpful parts, the awareness, and the work on the world stuff, is now coming in December to say: “Look at this amazing hope, look at what is going to be birthed, look at this new energy… It is dynamic and it is valuable, and I can allow it to come in.” Yes, you need to allow it to come in. Feel whatever you feel that represents a kind of “pregnant with” energy. Feel what has been brewing and what is ready to come up. Notice what the world is bringing to you, showing you, and inviting of you, as you get to and into this December 2025.
Many people celebrate holidays in December. There is also Solstice which is powerful. This Giving Birth energy before a new year is so interesting because you can bring in so much, welcome it, and hold it. You can feel into it. What is it, what does it look like, what does it feel like? And then allow that new and dynamic energy to break through that capsule and come into your life and into the world, and that is beautiful.
Peace will also be a message in December and it is very appropriate. As we look at the image, we have a dove here that is like spirit energy coming in. It feels like, for some people, not everyone, but for some people, that there will be a passing of, I would say, a passing of an older generation. In many ways that could be really hard at the end of the year. You might be remembering it or it might be the feeling of something really shifting in a family dynamic. The birthing can be a new dynamic in a family as an elder passes over and walks on. It feels like for some people this is going to be happening in December.
It is an interesting feeling to have with this reading, and you can of course let me know. I don't wish it for you if your family is well - I want them to keep their family people of course, but it feels like for somebody somewhere, it is going to be an important aspect of December 2025. Pay attention to that and notice that. If you can do anything to shift it leading up to that, then please do so, but otherwise know that it is coming with birthing energy. That cycle of life, circle of life we had in one of the other cards this year… It is reminding that with every passage into spirit there is a birth that happens as well, literally on the planet in many ways, but also within the family and within who is left in human existence after that person has passed. The spirit energy feels beautiful and feels lovely. If you have had a loss in your family in December 2025 or leading up to that time, or you are remembering one, I would really suggest to embrace the love. The serene and beautiful power of spirit. In December, Spirit shows itself in so many ways. You can hopefully really feel that and welcome it in, as expressed by this beautiful spirit energy rising in the upper part of this Giving Birth card.
That is our December card! Amazingly enough we have come to all of them for the year. Let me review: we have had Answering the Call in January. February was Stepping into Stillness with the affirmation “My power is born in the majesty of silence.” In March it was the Queen of Pentacles. April brought the Leadership card with the affirmation “I am a beacon of radiance, support, and love.” May was the Lotus Flower - Unfoldment card. In June we got The Emperor, number four. July with the Skull of Light – Illumination. August was Gratitude saying “This is a glorious time to be alive and I am so grateful”. September brought the Surrender Denial card written with “Accept people and situations exactly as they are without denying the difficulties. Then you can see things clearly and make the best decisions.” The October card was Four of Swords. November was Spirit Keeper of the West, and we just saw the December Giving Birth card with “I am bringing forth new and dynamic energy into the world.”
There was one last card in the centre of the Year Wheel that brought the theme for the year, Wind – Activation.
