We move into the Native Spirit Oracle Cards for November… Let's see… My sense as I was talking about the October card, the Four of Swords, is that the end of October early November phase is going to bring an option on a big transition of something. If things were challenging before, then there will be an opportunity for a big transition.
Our card for November is the Spirit Keeper of the West, which is very much an Autumn card resonating with the October - November time for those of us in the North. This would be representing the Northern type of energy on this card. It is talking about “harvest time”. What are you harvesting? It is also talking about the setting Sun which can be symbolized in the end of year phase. It gets darker, the leaves change, and they fall from the trees. What are you setting an end to? Perhaps with that October card just before, the Four of Swords, there is an invitation to end something, to complete something, or to surrender something. And then with this card, we move further into this ending or setting, and into the harvest.
The harvest could represent the wisdom that comes with experience and the wisdom that comes with that Spirit Keeper of the “Western Energy”. This is when one has lived a certain amount of time, one has experienced, one has observed, and then one has made choices accordingly. There is the version of harvest that is ready to be plucked and utilized, but at the same time with the change of the season and that West energy, we somewhat go back into ourselves.
As well as everything I have just said, with this Spirit Keeper of the West card for November, as you wind down 2025 through this month, this card is asking you to really look at and to look back at your year. Look at where have you utilized wisdom, where have you gained experience, and where have you become wiser and have made decisions that work to your benefit and help you. Really notice those things. The card and this reading do not want you to wait until December, they want you to do it in November. I think one of the reasons for that is that it can sometimes be a sort of “in-between” month as it gets darker in the northern countries. For some there are celebrations in November but for many others it is a lead up to different holidays and to the end of the year.
You can look at it and feel into it depending on the energy in you and your area. It is end of year energy as well as looking back over the year, for its value and harvests to this point. It is looking at what you want to focus on and to be aware of what you have gained, harvested, worked on, and empowered yourself with. What of those points represent wisdom of the wiser more Elder status? Even if you are young, you would look at it by asking what have I gained, what have I learned, and what have I experienced? Then take it into what that means for you, what that shows you. Where do you get wisdom from that you can then use forward.
It is also just to feel it for yourself. To be able to say where you can see that you made mistakes but then you learned from them. To see where you did something different than last year and so you got these benefits. You are more aware of yourself in these ways. You are more empowered in these ways. You have more self-compassion because you worked on that with one of the cards this year. Allowing all of that to play.
If you want, you could go back through the cards so far this year to see what has been gained from them in terms of choice, action, and awareness. That could be an interesting activity with this Spirit Keeper of the West reading.
Let me see what else is coming in with this card… It is a reminder that often comes in with the Spirit Keeper cards for me, that you are the Keeper of your Spirit. You are the Keeper of your physical body, your mind, your heart, your soul, and your energy. How you keep it benefits you in all different ways and is a value to you. If you have not been by this point in November 2025, “Keeping your Spirit” in whatever forms that means to you, in a way that really helps you, then perhaps that is why you had some of the Four of Swords type of feeling in October. It is not criticizing you or judging you with the Spirit Keeper. It is just reminding you that this Spirit Keeper energy is so valuable and beautiful and vast, that you can really utilize it in all different facets of your life whenever you need to. That is important for you.
That is November’s Spirit Keeper of the West… Explore other things and look at other aspects with this card. Feel into the Autumnal energies of it. They are very present but also so is the bright Sunshine. You have that Sun as well, don't forget that you still have that bright Sunshine working and doing so much and being so valuable in your day-to-day!
